Course Objective

The course aims to provide IT practitioners with a comprehensive training in mastering the essential project management, business systems analysis, software quality assurance and information security management skills. By equipping with these all round skills, the trainee will be more competitive in pursuing his or her career development in the IT discipline, either in a business management or IT technical supervisory position.

IT practitioners who want to pursue career development in the IT management field.
 

Target Audience

  • Holder of Certificate / Diploma in Computer Science, Information Management, IT related Science / Engineering discipline or equivalent, with at least 1 year’s relevant IT working experience; or
  • 5 passes in HKCEE or HKDSE (one subject of which must be English) or equivalent with at least 7 years’ relevant IT working experience; or
  • Holder of Higher Diploma or Bachelor degree in non-IT discipline from a recognized University, with at least 3 years’ relevant IT working experience
 

Course Fee

HK$25,000 (by monthly installment HK$3,125 x 8)

Cantonese (English terms will be used where appropriate)
 

Assessment and Award

Participants completed all 4 modules and achieved an overall attendance rate of 80% or more will be awarded QF Level 4 Certificate. To complete each module, participants must obtain a result of 50% or more in the written examination and an overall average mark of 50% or more for all assessment items. Participants completed an individual module and achieved an attendance rate of 80% or more will be awarded a Certificate of Attendance issued by Hong Kong Productivity Council.
 

Continuing Education Fund

This course (course code : 78K096293) is included in the list of reimbursable courses for Continuing Education Fund. Upon successful completion of four programme modules, participants will be eligible for a fee reimbursement of up to HK$10,000 (up to 80% of the course fee). Standard CEF Refund Policy is applicable to the course.
